A Note on Renaissance Costumes:

All of my Bodices are custom made. I make a tape pattern of the subject and use that to create the final pattern. The advantage of making my patterns this way, is that all the individualities of a person's body are accounted for and thus, they get a bodice that fits them like a glove instead of being a generic size that could fit several people. I am constantly coming up with new designs and am always on the lookout for other people's bodices that I like. Many times my inspiration comes from the customers' needs or things that they have seen and liked. Ultimately, no two bodices are alike as I am always perfecting my designs and methods.

I also make skirts, chemises, bloomers, and flat caps. One of these days I will break into men's wear. If you are looking to have a Renaissance costume made, please feel free to contact me. If you are looking for something I have not mentioned, just ask and I can look for a pattern or instructions. I know there are quite a number of pictures of me, but I test all my new bodice ideas on myself.

As for what to wear on your feet, the best shoes are a pair of Bald Mountain boots. These are custom made boots that will last you a lifetime and can be used in day to day life. Believe me, it is well worth the cost.
